For some of you guys who are thinking about a FHA Home Loan, there are good news. Effective January 1st through December 31st 2015, the maximum FHA home mortgage limits has increased from $287,500 in 2014 to $310,500 . This new and higher loan limits affect Frisco Texas, spanning both Collin and Denton counties and also Tarrant and Dallas county limits.
You as a home buyer can now purchase homes in Frisco TX up to $321,750.
So how does this affect Frisco Texas home sellers?
A higher limit means more Frisco TX homes now qualify for FHA home mortgage limits. Previously, homes in Frisco Texas up to $297,500 are allowed with a minimum 3.5% down payment for the FHA loan program.
There is no change to the the 3.5% down payment requirement.
